GP River Level edit

The Gardens Point campus with its inner city location reinforces our links with business and industry while creating a dynamic environment for students. It is within easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, theatres, galleries, and public transport including buses, trains and ferries.

Facilities at Gardens Point include libraries, computing and science laboratories, wireless internet zones, student counselling and health services, a campus club, a sports centre including a 25-metre indoor heated swimming pool, three squash courts, a sun desk and kiosk, a gymnasium, cafeterias, the Artisans on the Yard café and a child care centre.

This campus also houses a dynamic cultural precinct comprising a theatre and art museum. The Gardens Point theatre is a contemporary 400-seat venue which regularly hosts performances from QUT Creative Industries students as well as local and visiting drama, music and dance productions. The QUT Art Museum displays the QUT art collection as well as exhibitions by student artists and other designers.

The Goodwill Bridge, a pedestrian and cycle bridge, links the campus to South Bank Parklands, the cultural centre of Brisbane. The bridge provides easy access to places like the Queensland Museum, the Performing Arts Complex and the State Library of Queensland, as well as the new Gallery of Modern Art.
