Once you return your acceptance of offer and pay your fees, we will issue you with an electronic Confirmation of Enrolment (eCOE). You use this to arrange your student visa through an Australian embassy or consulate. If your application is successful, you will be issued with a Multiple Entry Visa allowing you to travel to and from Australia within the period for which your student visa is recognised.

If you are under 18 years old, you will need to organise additional arrangements.

Your eligibility for a student visa will be assessed against five levels by the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC). Every applicant must satisfy certain criteria in order to be granted a visa. These include, but are not limited to:

  • Financial ability
  • English proficiency
  • Intention to comply with visa conditions

DIAC has provided information about assessment levels so that you can determine the visa type you will require.

You must also undergo a medical examination by a doctor nominated by the Australian embassy/consulate, and provide evidence of Overseas Student Health Cover. If you have school age children accompanying you, you must provide evidence that you are arranging their schooling.

In some countries visa processing takes a long time so please allow plenty of time for this.

Depending on our country of nationality and your principal course of study you may have to meet pre-visa requirements after you have received your Offer letter. You may choose to receive a Pre-Visa Assessment (PVA).
