International Postgraduate Research Scholarships |

The Endeavour IPRS is an Australian Government initiative that attracts high achieving international students and scholars from around the world to undertake study or research in Australia . The main objectives of the Endeavour International Postgraduate Research Scholarships (IPRS) programme are to: attract top quality international postgraduate students to areas of research strength in Australian higher education institutions; and support Australia 's research effort. Scholarships are open to international students of all countries (except New Zealand ) and are available for a period of two years for a Masters by research degree or three years for a Doctorate by research degree. The Scholarship covers tuition fees and health cover costs for Scholarship holders, and health cover costs for their dependents. Some financial assistance towards living expenses may be provided to successful applicants by the enrolling School or Research Centre at QUT. To be considered for Endeavour IPRS at QUT, you must have received an offer for a place in a Professional Doctorate, Doctor of Philosophy or Masters (by Research) degree by 30 September of the year preceding your proposed year of entry and QUT must have received two (2) academic referee reports also by 30 September. To apply at QUT please complete the FR Form (Application for Admission to QUT as an International Student in a Research Program), including the IPRS Applicants section and provide the details of two Academic Referees who are familiar with your current research or research potential. QUT recommends that the FR Form is lodged early in the calendar year to ensure you have an offer by the closing date. An application fee of AUD$55.00 must accompany the FR form.
