QUT has made significant contributions to international communities through
its participation in international development assistance projects and consultancies.
The Office of Commercial Services within QUT pursues these opportunities and
also facilitates the involvement of QUT faculties in these projects and consultancies.
This office has achieved Quality Certification (AS/NZS ISO 9002-1994) as a commercial
interface between the University and industry, government and the professions in regards to consulting services, international projects or basic contract research.
qutbluebox (“bluebox”), the technology transfer and commercialisation company for QUT, is responsible for managing international relationships which involve commercialisation of QUT intellectual property, technology transfer or other QUT intellectual property transactions.
