The International Visitors Program facilitates the visits of:
- government officials
- staff from overseas universities, colleges and other institutions
- staff from partner institutions
- QUT's international representatives
- Prospective international students
- other interested parties
QUT welcomes over 300 international visitors each year. Visitors to QUT come from North America, Europe, Asia, South Pacific and the Middle East with the purpose of identifying areas of mutual collaboration. These discussions include joint research opportunities, staff and student exchanges, identifying and developing joint programs, articulation arrangements and other international programs.
The visits to QUT are hosted with a view to establishing new or improved working relationships that contribute towards enhancing QUT's international and domestic reputation.
QUT International works closely with the Faculties and Divisions within QUT to arrange a suitable program for international visitors who plan to have discussions with the various areas of the University.
