A number of scholarships are available at QUT for Thai students. Offered by different faculties, scholarship opportunities are available to students at postgraduate level.
FACULTY OF BUILT ENVIRONMENT & ENGINEERING
The Faculty offers two Merit Scholarships per semester for high-achieving Thai graduates who have been awarded a place in any of the Faculty's postgraduate coursework programs.
Tuition fee subsidies of AUD $2,000 per semester will be paid by the Scholarship for the duration of the course.
Scholarship selection will be based on academic performance of prior degree studies as supplied on official transcripts.
FACULTY OF BUSINESS
The Faculty offers Merit Scholarships for high-achieving undergraduate degree graduates of Thai universities who have been given places in the BS16 Master of Business or BS17 Master of Business Advanced at Queensland University of Technology. AUD $4500 (half of the first semester’s fees) will be paid by the Scholarship.
To receive these Scholarships, applicants must have achieved an overall Grade Point Average of 5.8 (calculated on the QUT 7-point scale) or better in their undergraduate degree, and meet the English language requirement of IELTS 6.5 with no subtest lower than 6.0.
There is no limit on the number of Scholarships available. All those who meet the selection requirements will receive an award.
FACULTY OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
The Faculty of Information Technology offers merit scholarships to high-achieving Thai graduates to study its postgraduate courses in Information Technology. Applicants must have been offered a place in a postgraduate IT coursework program. The scholarship covers tuition fees for one semester of study towards a Graduate Diploma or Masters degree, valued at AUD$9,500.
